I started week 6 of the 8 week jogging program yesterday. This is the third time I've attempted to complete this program, but this is the first time I've come this far.
I know I will complete the entire eight weeks this time!
It isn't easy, but it feels so good to achieve this goal. Week six consists of 8 intervals of 1 minute walking, 3 minutes jogging. I also add a walking warm up and walking cool down at the beginning and end, plus stretching when I'm done. I will post the entire program on here once I complete it.
Yesterday's workout was pretty tough. But I still completed it, and it made me feel proud of myself. Jogging can be kind of boring for me. I know some people who just love it, but I have to find ways to keep myself entertained. Weird, huh? But when the difficulty level increases, I don't have time to be bored because I'm busy concentrating on how I can complete the jogging session.
My calves are a bit sore today although I stretched yesterday. That feels good too: sore muscles. It makes me feel as though I've accomplished something.
